FOUNDATION GIVES FREE UNIFORMS TO 150 LESS PRIVILEGED STUDENTS, ORPHANS IN KADUNA

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: At most 150 students of poor parental background including Orphans have benefited free school uniform distributed by an NGO, Caleb Danladi Foundation (CDF) in Jaba LGA of Kaduna state.

The beneficiaries of gesture comprised of male and female pupils of LEA Primary School Samban Gida, LEA Primary School Gumbong and LEA Primary School Ungwan Rana respectively.

About N300,000 -N350,000 was estimated as cost of providing the uniform owning to increased in cost of materials, according to the founder, Captain Caleb Danladi who was represented by the coordinator, Mr. Davide M. Tuk.

Distributing the uniform on Monday, the coordinator of the CDF, Mr. Tuk, said the foundation firmly believed in doing every thing humanly possible to support growth and development of the less privileged children in the society.

Tuk also stated that the core essence of providing the uniform by the foundation was to encourage the pupils for their education to have a brighter future.

“This is a primary sections. Not all students, but we gives it to less privileged ones”, he said.

The distribution which took place in Samban Gida, around 9am_10am on Monday, was attended by head teacher and the mistress of the schools.

CDF who’s objective is to, among others, give hope to the hopeless through provision of life support materials, scholarship to vibrant youths who are less privilege and reach out to widows and orphans; as well as provide succour to victims of disaster, among others, also gave 22 students cash award for 2023 JAMB registration and scholarship to others recently.
