On 13th February 2026, the Caleb Danladi Foundation had the opportunity to visit the Director General of the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA), Engr. Mubarak Shehu Ladan, a great and exemplary leader whose transformational leadership has significantly improved rural water supply across Kaduna State.
During the visit, we met with the management team and commended RUWASSA’s remarkable achievements. Through visionary leadership and commitment, Kaduna State has gained global recognition in the area of WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene), reflecting the state’s dedication to sustainable and inclusive development.
Our discussions focused on areas of potential partnership, particularly in improving rural water supply for healthcare facilities, promoting sanitation and hygiene support for rural girls, and strengthening human capacity through training and development to enhance service delivery and ensure long-term impact.
The Caleb Danladi Foundation looks forward to a productive collaboration with RUWASSA towards improving the health and well-being of rural communities.
