Kwoi, Kaduna State — The Caleb Danladi Foundation has concluded its end-of-year medical outreach and welfare initiative in Jaba Local Government Area, extending support to widows, retired pastors, and other vulnerable community members.
The event, which also served as a Christmas celebration, drew dignitaries including the Vice Chairman of Jaba LGA, the District Head of Daddu, officials from the Kaduna State Contributory Health Management Authority (KADCHMA), and other community stakeholders.
As part of the outreach, the foundation distributed bags of rice to over 1,000 widows to ease festive burdens. Additionally, 300 vulnerable individuals were newly enrolled in the Kaduna State Contributory Health Management Scheme (KADCHMA), granting them access to affordable healthcare services.

The District Head of Daddu, representing the Paramount Ruler of Ham, commended the founder, Dr. (Capt.) Caleb Danladi, describing the initiative as selfless and impactful. He urged other community members to emulate the foundation’s efforts in supporting vulnerable populations.
Dr. Danladi expressed gratitude to attendees for their support, particularly during the mourning and burial of his late father. He prayed for a peaceful Christmas celebration and safe journeys for all participants.
Mrs. Hadiza Yen, a respected community figure, praised Dr. Danladi for his dedication to serving the less privileged, encouraged widows to remain steadfast in faith, and prayed for continued blessings on the foundation and its beneficiaries.
Representing KADCHMA, Head of Finance Suleiman Mustapha highlighted the importance of health insurance and noted that the partnership with the Caleb Danladi Foundation has expanded healthcare access, with the additional 300 enrollees bringing total beneficiaries to 750.
During the medical outreach, Dr. Jolly Byanet encouraged beneficiaries with conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and ulcers to take advantage of the free consultations, screenings, and medications provided.
In an empowerment initiative, Dr. Danladi presented ₦25,000 each to 10 women, promising that all widows would benefit in subsequent phases. Many beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude, with several moved to tears.
